Opportunity Description
The University of Melbourne Visiting Fellowship 2026 is hosted by the Peter McMullin Centre on Statelessness, an interdisciplinary research centre at the University of Melbourne dedicated to promoting research, education, and policy engagement on statelessness and related issues. The fellowship is intended to strengthen international collaboration and create opportunities for researchers and professionals from different backgrounds to engage with the Centre's work. Successful fellows will join an active academic community and have opportunities to interact with scholars, researchers, and practitioners working on statelessness and human rights. During their fellowship, participants may engage in research activities, contribute to seminars and academic discussions, exchange ideas with Centre members, and develop collaborative projects. The programme is particularly suitable for individuals whose research, professional work, or lived experience contributes to a better understanding of statelessness and the protection of stateless populations. The fellowship also provides an opportunity for fellows to expand their international academic and professional networks while contributing new perspectives to research and policy discussions surrounding statelessness.
