Princeton in Africa (PiAf) connects talented young graduates with organizations working to address important social and economic challenges across Africa.

The 2027–2028 PiAf Fellowship is a fully funded, 12-month placement. Fellows are matched with host organizations based on their academic background, skills, professional interests, and the needs of participating organizations.

The fellowship is particularly valuable for recent graduates seeking to build an international career, gain practical experience, develop leadership skills, and contribute to projects that have a positive impact in Africa.

PiAf receives hundreds of applications and uses a competitive selection process. Applicants may be assessed through their written application, academic transcript, references, interviews, and review by a selection committee.

PiAf has also introduced the PiAf Innovator track, which focuses on supporting opportunities connected to Africa's growing innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
