The World Bank Group Africa Fellowship Program 2026 is for talented African nationals who have recently completed their Ph.D. In a field that is relevant to the work of the World Bank Group. The World Bank Group Africa Fellowship Program 2026 has been very successful in creating a group of young African talent who are interested in a career in development in international institutions African governments think tanks and academia. The World Bank Group Africa Fellowship Program 2026 offers selected fellows a six-month assignment at World Bank Group offices in Washington, D.C. Or in country offices to gain hands-on experience in World Bank Group operations. This includes generating and sharing knowledge, designing country policies and building institutions to achieve growth that includes everyone in developing countries. While learning from research and innovation in sectors fellows will also work on research, economic policy, technical assistance and lending operations that help the World Bank Group achieve its goal of eliminating poverty and increasing shared prosperity.

Applicants must:

*  Be a Ph.D. Graduate, which means you completed your Ph.D. Within three years or be enrolled in the last year of the Ph.D. Program.

*  Have a good command of English both written and verbal.

* Possess quantitative and analytical skills.

*Be 32 years old or younger by January 1, 2027.
