* The organisation has to be a Local Government Council or a not-for-profit organisation that is eligible.

* The organisation must have insurance that covers it like Public Liability.

You can only apply for one grant. So if you are an organisation make sure you check with other teams to see if they are also applying. For example if you are a Local Government Council with libraries only one library can apply.

Local Government Councils can get up to $700. All other organisations can get up to $1000.

What is an Eligible Not for Profit organisation?

Not-for-profit organisations are groups that provide services to the community and do not try to make money for their members. Some examples are art centres, neighbourhood associations and sports clubs.

To see if your organisation is a not-for-profit we will check some things.

* What type of organisation you are registered as

* If you can receive tax gifts

* If you are incorporated or supported by another organisation

We will also look at your organisations rules and other documents to make sure it is a not-for-profit.
