The Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program is an opportunity for professionals to improve their leadership skills through studying and working in the United States. This program is for professionals, policymakers, managers and administrators who have shown leadership potential and a strong commitment to serving the public.  The fellowship helps mid-career professionals learn, network and gain experience. After completing the program fellows must return to Nepal.

To apply you must be a policymaker, manager or administrator in a leadership role with a commitment to service. You can work in the government, private sector or non-governmental organizations. The fellowship is competitive. Selection is based on professional and personal qualifications, as well as leadership potential.

Here are the requirements:

* You must be a citizen.

* You should be working at a -career level with increasing responsibility in the government, NGO or private sector.

* You need to have least 5 years of professional experience in Nepal.

* Your experience should be in a field after completing your university degree.

* You must be good at speaking, reading and writing in English.

* You should be committed to service and have the potential, for national leadership.

* You should want to improve your problem-solving skills take on responsibilities and return to a significant public service role after completing the Humphrey Program.
