The WHO NCD Country Capacity Survey is a global assessment that helps countries evaluate their capacity to prevent and control noncommunicable diseases such as:

Other major chronic illnesses

Academic Requirements

Candidates must have completed at least three years of full-time university education in one of the following disciplines:

• Public Health
• Epidemiology
• Global Health
• Health Policy
• Statistics
• Data Science
• Biostatistics
• Medicine

• Or another closely related field.

Applicants must also:

• Be currently enrolled in a degree program leading to a recognized academic qualification, or
