| Opportunity Description | Schizophrenia affects 1% of people and can cause a lot of disability, shorter life expectancy and many unmet medical needs. Progress in finding new treatments and improving outcomes has been slow. Current treatments often do not work well for problems with thinking and negative feelings. Many people may not get better with the treatments we have. Research also has some limitations, like not including people from different backgrounds and focusing on short-term fixes rather than long-term recovery and happiness. This MQ Fellowship call, funded by Nikki Fa Fond and hosted by Foundation Philanthropia aims to fill a gap. Schizophrenia has an impact on people and society, but it does not get enough funding. We still do not fully understand what causes it how to prevent it or how to treat it properly. Summary: Deadline: 08 December 2026 Category: Fellowship, Grants |
