| Opportunity Description | Join the youth delegation to the World Forum for Democracy. Bring the youth perspective to the discussion on the New Democratic Pact for Europe. The youth delegation will have a training session two days before the World Forum for Democracy. They will also take part in the Youth Day of the World Forum for Democracy in November. The World Forum for Democracy is an event. The 14th edition of the World Forum for Democracy will take place in Strasbourg on 2-3 November 2026. The theme of the World Forum for Democracy is "Rupture or Renewal? Democratic Security for Our Future”. This is part of the New Democratic Pact for Europe. The New Democratic Pact for Europe is about the future. It is the Council of Europe’s response to the challenges. The Council of Europe’s member states have been supporting the New Democratic Pact for Europe since 2025. The New Democratic Pact for Europe provides a framework. This framework is for thinking about the future of democracies. It is about how to get ready for it. The Council of Europe has been talking to its member states, regions, territories, civil society and universities. They have been doing this for over two years. The goal is to get ready for the future of democracy in Europe. The World Forum for Democracy is a part of the New Democratic Pact, for Europe.
